Obama’s Speech about Rev Wright is Questionable

by an Obama Who? contributor;

Today, they say that Obama came out and threw his pastor under the bus  Am I the only one who does not see it this way?

I did not hear Obama say that he would not have anything to do with Wright anymore. I did not hear him say he rejects this man, his policies and his church, just Wright’s words and verbal attacks against him.  Why now?  It is a minute late and a mile short for this.

Obama had twenty years to find fault with this man and his teachings.  He sat there in this church for twenty years and listened to Reverend Wright preach. Obama and his wife let this man teach their daughters as well with his radical sermons.  BO has had ample time to strongly denounce and totally disassociate himself from this man over the last twenty years but he waits until now to do so?  I am sorry but there is no way that anyone can tell me that Obama sat there for twenty years, listened to these sermons and did not know what Rev. Wright truly was about.

Some people have been saying that this puts the issue to rest.  With who?  I honestly do not think that the majority of the American people are buying it.  From what I am reading on the blogs people think it is some form of set up for Obama to get the white voters on his side or that it is some form of a joke or a false act.

Honestly, I don’t know, nor care what it was.  Obama has so much garbage clinging to him that there is no way he can win the general presidential election.  The constant lies, the dirty money trails, the Ayers and Dohrn situation, Naftagate, Farrakhan, Wright, Rezko, the list of negatives goes on and on.  If the DNC wasn’t so darned set on him winning for their personal hate of the Clintons, Obama would have been asked to step aside for the good of the party.  Personally, I just want this election over with as it has turned into nothing more than a circus.

Here are the current SurveyUsa polls as they seem to be the most reliable:

Hillary Clinton:

Up 9 in Indiana

Up 33 in Kentucky

Down 5 in North Carolina

With Polls coming out like this it would be a good time for Obama to get out there and try to take care of some problems now wouldn’t it?  Hillary also got endorsed by a new Superdelegate today: Ike Skelton of MO. Wish about 100 of them would come out and endorse her all at once and get rid of the divide between her and Obama.  Hey, miracles can and do happen..

    What I find sad about Obama’s press conference today was the fact that he showed no passion. Old friend or not, I would have been furious with the way I was portrayed by Rev. Wright. I think most people would have. Most of us would have spoken very forcefully and left no doubt about the way we felt. You would have heard me in the next county!

    Nor did he express genuine sadness at the end of a relationship. Perhaps this man doesn’t really FEEL things???? Perhaps it’s all politics.

    That, too, is sad! He could have been so much more.

    I watched the video a couple of time last night And watched his movements. Obama stalled and stuttered as usual through his speech but he did not seem visibly upset or shaken by this denouement. I believe it was a set up to get him away from Wright, end the controversy and to get him back on track without this millstone around his neck. I also believe there was back room deals going on and once he is the nominee Wright would resurface if he got the White House. I believe Obama would say or do anything to get elected, he changes his stories all the time and I feel he is trying to escape the problems and get to the White House any way he can. You do not throw a 20 year relationship with a “father figure” under the bus that fast. Something stinks here.
