More Obama and Ayers Scandal Info

Lately it has come to people’s attention about the connection between Obama and William Ayers.  Obama is trying to play this connection down but it is one of the things most people are talking about.  People are appalled that Obama would be in the friendly company of someone like this.

During a robbery of an armored car, Ayer’s wife went to prison rather than to testify against what their group did.  Two policemen and a security guard were killed.  One of the officers murdered was the first black officer on the NYACK police force.

Waverly L. Brown(1935-1981) was a Nyack, New York police officer who was killed in the line of duty during an infamous 1981 armed robbery of a Brinks Armored Car, along with fellow Nyack officer Edward O’Grady and Brinks security guard Peter Paige. The event garnered national headlines and led the arrest and imprisonment of several people involved, many of whom were members of the Weather Underground and Black Liberation Army.

Prior to his law enforcement career, Brown served in the United States Air Force and participated in the Korean War. In 1966, he became the first African American member of Nyack’s police department[1]. By 1981, he had served with the department for 15 years. Nicknamed “Chipper”, he was well liked by his fellow officers, and often cooked meals for them during his shift[2]

 

Edward O’Grady II (August 20, 1948 – October 20, 1981) was born in Nyack, New York. After graduating high school, he joined the United States Marine Corps and served two tours of service in the Vietnam War. O’Grady joined the Nyack Police department after his discharge and also worked as a volunteer fire fighter with the Nyack fire department. In 1976, O’Grady was promoted to sergeant, the youngest person in the history of Rockland County, New York to achieve that rank. At the time of his death, he was enrolled at St. Thomas Aquinas College and was close to receiving his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He was survived by his wife and three children. His son, Edward J. O’Grady III, went on to join the United States Navy, graduating from the United States Naval Academy in 1997.

During the 1981 robbery of a Brinks armored car by members of the Black Liberation Army and Weather Underground, O’Grady was shot several times with an M16. Ninety minutes later, he died on a hospital operating table.

The wife of Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn, went to prison rather than to testify as to what she knew about the robbery her cohorts in the Weathermen did. 

The group of friends Obama has picked is questionable in itself but this man Ayers is one of the most violent and terrible individuals that Obama could have chosen.  Ayers is a terrorist and an unrepented one. In fact, on the day of 9/11 Ayers said that he did not regret bombing the Pentagon and police stations but wished they could have done more.  Ayers is a home front terrorist, pure and simple. Obama is friends with him even though the Ayers’ group of the Weathermen killed an Afro American Police officer, the first in his field in Nyack. This police officer was someone who was well liked and in a ground breaking job for black people. They had with no regrets and no remorse for Brown’s murder.  This is Obama’s friend? What does this say about Obama?
