Another misstatement from Obama: During his "race" speech he discussed his grandmother working on a bomber assembly line at Ft. Leavenworth. Kansas had two bomber factories- one at the Boeing plant in Wichita and one at the Fairfax plant in Kansas City, Kansas. None at Fort Leavenworth. Although this is a small embelishment it goes directly to his chracter. The reason for his lie, I assume, was to promote the patriotism of his grandmother and therefore, create a positive reflection on him. Fort Leavenworth is about 150 miles from his grandmother's home in El Darado, Kansas. He simply should have said my grandmother worked on a bomber assembly line during WWII.

"And the notion that somehow it's cute or amusing, or a useful diversion, I think, is something that all of us have to recognize is just not the case. We all have First Amendment rights. And I am a constitutional lawyer and strongly believe in free speech, but as a culture, we really have to do some soul-searching to think about what kind of toxic information are we feeding our kids,"
